DHI to Host More Free Liver Scan Drop-ins

DHI is happy to announce a series of free liver scans drop-in events across Bath and South Glos.

Residents of Bath and surrounding areas are invited to one of DHI's of free liver scanning events to be held this November, offering an opportunity to check liver health using a non-invasive and pain free fibroscanner. A liver scan measures the stiffness and fat levels in the liver, identifying potential early signs of liver disease.

Regular liver scans can provide vital insights into liver health, helping to prevent serious conditions such as cirrhosis or liver cancer. These scans are particularly beneficial for individuals with known risk factors, such as alcohol use or obesity, but are available to all.

These are drop-in events, no need to book.

November:
Tuesday 12 November: The Beehive, Bath City Centre, BA1 5BT
Tuesday 19 November: Bath Leisure Centre, Bathwick, BA2 4ET
Thursday 21 November: Bath Leisure Centre, Bathwick, BA2 4ET

December:
Friday 6 December (10am - 12pm): Genesis Life Trust, Snow Hill, BA1 6DH
Wednesday 11 December (10am - 2pm): Odd Down Community Centre, Odd Down, BA2 2TL

January:
Friday 3 January (11am - 3pm): Bath Leisure Centre, BA2 4ET
