The new Recovery Orientated Alcohol and Drugs Service (ROADS) is delivered as a partnership between DHI, Bristol Drugs Project (BDP) and the Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership (AWP).
DHI is responsible for the Community Recovery Hubs, which will be the first point of contact for many service users, and will be where much of our work will be delivered from. However, we are also making sure that the service is strongly embedded in local communities and we are drawing on our great links with Bristol community organisations to make sure the service is as successful as possible.
Of course, now that we have significantly expanded what we are doing in Bristol, we have also significantly expanded our workforce there, and we’d like to welcome all of those new staff to DHI.
Over the coming weeks and months, we will be bringing you news from Bristol as the new service develops.
